ABOUT US

TALUNG THAI KITCHEN is our way of sharing the intense flavors of Southern Thai Cooking, passed down through generations from my mother to me. We are not just recreating the dishes of Phatthalong, we are reinterpreting them for our New York home.

We use the name Talung to pay our respects to the Nang Talung shadow puppets that have entertained us for centuries and because our food, shadows, and tells the story of Southern Thai cuisine, through its chilies, peppers, spices, herbs, and sauces.
